Colton`s Steak House & Grill in Marion

I work right down the road from Coltons, so once or twice a week I like to order the Texas salad for lunch. I called ahead and spoke with Daniel last week the General Manager and I expressed to him how important the quality of My food should be. He was friendly and professional. Fast forward to today The food has and continues to be perfect. Our server Colby did an excellent job

This was our first time eating here and it was a great experience! The food was fantastic and the waitress was very helpful and attentive. We loved the atmosphere as well and plan on returning very soon.

I broke my own rule and ordered nachos at a steakhouse biggest mistake of my life. Second biggest mistake of my life was ordering a steak at this steakhouse. Only thing I've had that was good was the chicken fried chicken and the shrimp. Also. Sit at the bar if you want good service.

The only thing that came out of their kitchen that was delicious was the salad. The appetizer was over done, the steak that I ordered was under done the ribs that I ordered with the steak was taste less, now the waitress that served me was o.n point. I give two stars on her behalf. This is what they call medium

The tips were so salty. Our food was like warm. It took quite a long time to get drinks refilled. Disappointed 😪😫👎

My wife and I stopped here for dinner and I was super impressed with our young waiter. I had the chicken fried chicken and my wife had the sirloin steak. It was cooked to perfection. We were both thankful that the portions were large enough for us to take some back to our hotel. The food was fantastic.

Food was good. However from the time we got entree to food the wait was 45 minutes Making us miss our movie.

Went to Colton's for the first time tonight. Got there at 4:45 pm ordered tips baked potato and okra waited was served at 5:30 after the waitress kept telling us they were running late in the kitchen. Finally got our meal the tips I ordered were red inside and not pink which is what medium should have been and the baked potato was cold and had a glob of sour cream on it. I didn't send it back because I didn't want to wait another 30 minutes to get it done. Will not be going back.

Tonight Coltons was on point. Food and service were both great. Celebrated Dads bday there and had a wonderful time.

The food was amazing. The service we received was stellar! The staff went above and beyond to make our experience a great one. The place was clean and quiet.

Update: Worst date night ever. Napkin had what looked like dried snot all over it. Wife's meal had to be sent back to be cooked the way she likes. Just when we get it back, I eat some more broccoli and find a steamed fly underneath. We were done and are done with Coltons for a very very long time.Previous: The new management sign convinced us to give Colton's another go - boy are we glad we did! We had sworn to never eat here again but the food was delicious and the service great. I was talking with one of the workers and she told me of the complete change the environment has undergone and how it is extremely positive. It is true - focus on your employees so they can focus on service. My only and quite minor complaint was when I ordered grilled shrimp that it looked and tasted nothing of the sort. It was still tasty but most definitely boiled.

Roll were over cooked... Food was ok... Our server in the bar was wonderful!!

Bad food. Steak was waaaay over salted. Won't go back.

The rasberry tea was the best. My server was very good also i think i had 4 of these teas. I had the smoked prime rib for dinner. I was not impressed by it. The only flavor was around the edge. Was bland and grisley, baked potato was dry. Salad looked like a bag salad, but lots of dressing helped it. If invited back i would however give them a second chance to impress me.

Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere.

Server was attentive and timely. Clean restrooms. 6oz sirloin was cooked just right and served hot. Dinner rolls were hot and fresh. My friend said that her "loaded chicken breast" was very tasty.

Door dashed Coltons and ordered a salad and a Montana burger. It was a terrible experience. They called to tell me they couldn’t make me the salad I ordered because they didn’t have the stuff to make it. Which would have been fine, but when we got the salad it tasted like it was a few days old and had eggs in it that still had shells on them. The burger was burnt and had no taste at all. Usually we are big fans of Coltons, but the one in Pittsburg has let us down the last few times we have been. Would not recommend to anyone if they had a choice.

When I spend the amount of money on dining out I expect good service and great food. They were not busy but the waitress didn't come check on us until she brought the check. Food was bland and steaks were under cooked. We won't be going back.

Fantastic service. The amount of food was unbelievable you get full before your meal even shows up. The house salad was great with no iceberg. The rolls were fresh and they bring honey!the steak was just okay nothing special.

The fried pickles were awesome! The prime rib wasn't what I would call a traditional prime rib by any means. It was tasty but really fatty. We waited a while for our food and they gave us a $25 gift card for the wait. We made no mention of wanting compensation for the wait so it was nice that they took the initiative. Overall it was pretty good.

A very nice steakhouse. The bartender was very friendly and funny to talk with. Quite a pleasant place made so especially by the bartender.

We wait 45 minutes for our food when it really wasn’t that busy. We ordered our steaks medium. The steaks were raw and the waitress never offered to take them back.

We had to wait a little longer than usual apparently and my significant other and I were not bothered one bit by the wait. The staff was very attentive and kind. At the end, a blonde woman in a red shirt approached out table and let us know our ticket would be comped for the long wait. It's the best customer service I've experienced in a long time! Thank you.

The food could have been better as the baked potatoe was cooked too long in a microwave and was somewhat dehydrated. The steak had a lot of gristle and we were given a discount. I doubt if we will waste our time there again!

One of Best Steaks I've had in a Long time! Cooked perfectly! The bread and salad were Awesome! Unfortunately My baked potato was way over done the skin was so hard and dry wasn't able to eat much of it, everything else was perfect. Worth the 60 mile drive for us. Also brought home some bread pudding that was Amazing too!

The food was alright. Definitely not worth the price. It was good food, just not great for price. Tx roadhouse and Chili's does better. Sides portion was horrible for the price! Small small SMALL side portion! Entree and sides were good but not Great as I'm a caterer. Corn cob good...Mac n cheese below average. Overall, definitely overpriced and overrated. Only gave 5 stars so review would be read.

I had heard bad things, but got food there the other day and it was amazing, hot and fresh fries and a juicy burger hit the spot!

Good food. A little bit of an issue with food coming our of the kitchen. Menu has a nice variety of foods for people with special food needs. Service was great & staff was friendly.

Was not impress with my meal at all, ordered a drink teasted like lime juice and a slash of alcohol. If I come back, hope it's better the next time!

My fave place in Pittsburg. I go there about once a month and am never disappointed. It’s western themed and looks very nice. The staff is friendly and the food is AMAZING!!

Went here for an early dinner since I haven’t gone to Colton’s in years. But tonight, after what I experienced, I may never go to one ever again.Great atmosphere, but, EVERYTHING. TASTED. BLAND. There was no seasoning or spice to make the food kick into high gear. Even the appetizer wasn’t that good at all. My server was okay, but it felt they were not there when I needed a refill on my drink.This was a complete waste of my time and my money. I’m probably never gonna go to Colton’s ever again. Not even for their delicious yeast rolls.

I only visit here a few times a year but the food and drinks are fantastic! Not to mention that the rolls are always hot and fresh! Service is either a hit or miss, I have had some great servers and then some less attentive servers. It's definitely worth a stop though as you won't leave hungry!

We live in Sand Springs, Oklahoma and we were on a day trip up to Kansas. We are getting a Colton's soon and we saw Pittsburg Kansas had one so we stopped in. It was great. The wait for the food was a tad longer than expected for as empty as it was but the wait staff was nice and the food was really good. I got the Montana burger. It has BBQ sauce and these delicious little onion strings on it. The burger was juicy and tasted great. My husband got the chicken fried steak and it was a ton of food that he liked very much. We had to take some of it to go. Can't wait for ours to open now!

Everyone was super fabulous but our waitress MacKenzie was one of the best waitress we've had in a long time and our glasses were never empty. They ran out of the 12oz sirloin, so Cameron came out to tell us and give us our options. He was extremely nice and also went above and beyond to make sure our visit was great.The food was good but the staff exceeded our expectations of a chain restaurant.

I was picking up my to-go order and nobody was at the front. I wanted to confirm with someone that it was okay for me to take it, so they knew it wasn’t stolen. An employee walked past and I asked if the order sitting up front was mine, she just rolled her eyes and didn’t reply. It’s crazy, because I work in customer service—your job is literally to talk to and be nice to people, and she couldn’t even do that. I’m sorry I don’t have a detailed list about what staff does what job. So I just took the bag, and thankfully it was my food. Won’t be coming back or ordering food because of awful customer service.

Things seemed go smoothly now that they have reopened followi g the lockdown. Nice and efficient wait staff. The chopped steak and grilled shrimp were delicious.

We truly can’t say enough about this place, great food, great service and great management! Treat us very well and we will always visit this place on our way to Kansas City! Thanks for making our visits welcoming! God Bless

The service and food were great and they were able to cook my food without seasoning so I didn't have any allergy issues!

Subpar food, tried them twice both times were a big fail! NY Strip was 1/2 fat and the Country Fried Steak was a frozen style pattie like a fast food steak sandwich! I could go on but I think you get the picture!
